Slowly woven in the small town of Buldan, Turkey, by master weaver Hasan.

The name Baklava has been taken from the street name used amongst the local weavers themselves for this style. The repetitious diamond patterns resemble the shape of the sweet and sticky baklava desert.

The unique flat-weave of the Turkish towel means it is light weight, absorbent and fast drying (on a sunny day, dries under an hour). Not to mention - sand doesn’t stick to it!
